Cover by Siouxsie & the Banshees[]

A cover of this song was recorded in studio by Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1978, and released in their "debut" album The Scream.

Trivia[]

Siouxsie and the Banshees could have been the band to record the first "Helter Skelter" cover on 1978; had it not been for the fact that the band Aerosmith recorded it in their "Toys in the Attic" sessions (1975). However, that cover wasn't commercially released until 1991.

♪♫Helter Skelter Lyrics♫♪

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide Where I stop and I turn and I go for a ride Till I get to the bottom and I see you again.

Do you, don't you want me to love you I'm coming down fast but I'm miles above you Tell me tell me tell me come on tell me the answer You may be a lover but you ain't no dancer

So look out Helter skelter Na la la la la la Helter skelter Na la la la la la Helter skelter

Will you, won't you want me to make you I'm coming down fast but don't let me break you Tell me tell me tell me the answer You may be a lover but you ain't no fucking dancer

When I get to the bottom I go back to the top of the slide Where I stop...
